I know induction can be scary... both of mine were induced and this one will be too, for me it is perfect... they never even have to use pitocin on me, they just use "sideatteck"- it's a cervix softner. My daughter was induced 6 weeks early due to complications and we all made it through fine. And I am with all the rest, if you feel uncomfortable tell your hubby to hush up and that you want a second opinion. I personaly have wonderful feelings about being induced under the right circumstances, however that does not sound like your situation.

Food Discussion & Information / Re: Ok - Starting to panic...

I am firm believer in "GIANT BREED PUPPY" food for at least the first 18 months, but I have a dane(dunno if that makes a diffrence)From what I understand you don't wanna give em lots of puppy food because it can cause them to get too big to quick, but adult food doesn't give enough correct nutrients for correct puppy growth. I am sure this was no help .. sorry I am sure you will get better imput from someone else real soon.

OK so the "theory" is that the more you feed them them longer they will go, BUT I know of plenty of babies who are perfectly happy to eat every 2-4 hours no matter how much you feed them. My opinion has always been to try whatever you think will work best, and if you find out it's not working well you can always change again. As long as your not switching formula types or brands switching up the feeding schedule shouldn't do anything crazy to the baby except maybe more diaper changes. I did use formula after 9 months of breastfeeding with both of mine, but because I only had a few months on the formula I really don't remember the exact specifics. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Have you tried Web MD yet? They have really good articles on just about everything. I know your probably really anxious to make a decision one way or another but please please get another opinion from a diffrent doctor in your area. How old are you by the way? And how many kids do you have? And besides not wanting to get pregnant again is there any MEDICAL reasons to having a partial done? I will get more info for you.... I am also pregnant(3rd) and under the care of a private OB GYN here in Indiana - and I trust her with my life.. she has been with me through every pregnancy..and every miscarriage :'(, I am sure she would be more then willing to openly answer some general questions for me.

Lucy has had her tail dislocated on many occasion and the pain is really intense.. We always take her to the emergency vet as soon as it starts to get her treated quickly, but usually even after the vet there is still pain for a few days... I would get yours to a vet ASAP.

My mother in law had a partial done at about 28 because she was having complications from being pregnant sooo much (8 kids) Until last year everytime she would have a period or anything like period symptoms she couldn't even get out of bed... last year at the age of 41 they finally did a full hysto. since then she's been great, her dr. advised her that there are only rare cases that they do partials anymore. I would definately lean towards the tubal... but that's just me. Is you Dr. a family doc or an OB GYN?

My mom swears by benadryl, but she has pugs - not big dogs. I second the smelly vet visit, I am sure they have smelled far worse.

Funniest thing I guess they thought cause he was a very big dobe and I was looking like damsal in destress they would save me.LOL. He was the sweetest dog ever... never would hurt a hair on anybody, just goes to show you big dogs getta bad rap because their big.
