Thanks all you guys for your replying. Just reading all your replies already made this seem like nothgin at all hehe. :) Well a small update. I am changing a vet hospital. I posted on craigslist about pets umlimited and there was someone who use to work with them that totally agree with my findings. But either way I got a lot of good recommendation s for the sunset area. These people been taking their animals there for over 10 years :) So I am going to try out this new place and hope all goes well. But still thanks for the recommendation s here. If this one doesn't work out we can start traveling further :) As for the puppy. I left her at the groomers there and she is all cleaned up. But I found out later that the collar she was wearing still have poo on it and I had to clean that up myself. I would think they would at least rinse it Anyway the puppy is clean and passed out on the sofa  The car and even me of course is all cleaned up hehe.  Today no accidents yet (knock on wood) Hehe. :)

German Shepherd Discussions / Tough Day

Let me start out saying I love my puppy but she is really driving me crazy :'( This morning I woke up found pee on my two doggies. Took both of them a bath. Rushed one to a vet in Daly City. The racing the other to another vet across the city. While on the highway my puppy decieded to go to the back sheet (everytime she does that she ends up goign to the bathroom back there.) So I had to keep one hand on her while driving to make sure she doesn't get up and poo. But couldn't so that for long so decieded to keep an eye and hold it behold one sec later she poos in the backseat and it was soft stool too... Then to top it off she steps on it and got it all over the back seat and with no where to go she lay right on top of it.  THen she got up a little bit later and threw up twice, SO the only thing in my mind is get her to the vet, (there is a grooming shop there) And then when  finally got there I picked her up (her leash was filled with poo) and rushed her in there. I then ask the receptionist if thney have anywhere I can clean her and the receptionist (a bit stuck up) told me to go to the bathroom. Went in and was like "there is no way puppy can fit in that tiny sink. " Came out and was like is there anywhere I can wash the dog. She said there is groomer downstairs and she added you missed your appointment. Right after that she said you want to take the to get groomed or vet checked. (This whole time she had this whatever attuide) I was like I want to get her vet checked but she does have poo ALL OVER. THen she is like lets reschule and then the time they had was really bad for me. So I was like I can't( keep in mind I am holding a poo filled doggy and poo is now on me too) Then she just said then I can not help you. I was like... Then I go do you have anywhere I can wash the dog. Then she called the vet reschule for fri and i rushed the dog downstairs to groomers. WHen I was there person was on the phone. THen she got off I tried to explain what happened (she has this I don;t give a  beep attuide( Anyway she called vet and vet said okay dog can be groomed. So finally done and then went upstairs and said "thnak to the receptionist" but she in the same I don't care sent is off with another thank you and left. So in another words bad morning, bad  vet visit. I really want to look for a vet and vet's staff. That are nice and caring, not giveing me this I don;t care attuide. So now a bit calm btoh doggy where they supppose to be. Thanks for reading it to this point. Fiinished venting .....

THanks everyone for all the advice. Let me give everything another try. Today was bad though. On our way to the vet she decided to puke and poo all over the back seat (this was her third time) then if that was not bad enough she  lay right on it ... Sigh. I love her but she is driving me up the walll...Grrrr

I live in san francisco and because of my busy life I haven;t been able to really socialize my doggies. I was wondering if there are anyone who lives around here and we can set up a date or time to meet and let our puppies play :)I conveniently live right next to sunset ocean beach so that would be a cool place to hang out :)

I grew up with Bichons and always wanted one. So then when we got a house I decieded to get one. She was the rut in the litter  but really tough. At first it was cute and I would put her in purses and stuff and play tag a sock and stuff. But for some reason when I go out with her I feel so bored in some sense.  And I always get distracted with the big dogs around. I still  love my dog but something was just off. One day my friend got a Lab mix which he can't care for right then so I decieded to help him out and foster her for him. It was at first a shock but then I grew to really love that dog. Because of her size there is more to hold and more to do. I can go running with her with my little bichon I would have to hold her and walk after one block. After a few months the lab went to her new home and I really really felt empty. Then one day on craigslist someone was sellings a 3 y/o german shepherd that is fully trained by K9 Unit and so on. Long story short. I saw the dog but it was in terrible shape. It was under weight, fur sheding like rain and while demonstoring how to play wiht him the owner "wacked" the dog pretty hard. But I still wanted to get the dog because I had done so much reserach about GSD before then and my heart was set and I wanted to get im outta that siutation . But My bf made it clear a no is no. So then after weeks of conveniceing I starting searching for GSD puppy. After LOTS of phone calls and reserch I found a breeder who had puppies and was recommended. I thought to just go look but we all know how that goes hehe. So here we are dealing with the potty training and so on. Big dogs do give you a sense of proud and comfort that little dogs can't. But Buffy still gives me love and I still love her small paw and all :)  Wow that was long. HEhe

My puppy is 11weeks old and I am nto sure how many ponds is she. Although when she stand up her height is to my kneels. Her crate is a large. BUt she seem to just fit when she pan out. If she is in a ball she just take up half the crate. The odd part is she pees and lay down right on it. Like  it's nothing. I only leave her there from 12 am to 7 or sometime from 2 am to 7 am but for some reason she still goes in her crate..People's been telling me they don't go in their crate but apparently she does. I wonder if there is something wrong with her...

Wow. Thanks for all the replies. the potty training part is still slow. I walk her and then the next thing i know she pees in the house. I don;t mind the peeing in the house. As much as the fact she jsut steps in it and get it all over. SO then its shower time again. The odd thing is she does pee in her crate. She has done it so many times already. The worse part is the part where she just lies down in it. But like I said its only at night when i wake in the morning. During daytime its not that bad at all. :)

Hi! I am new at this so bare with me hehe. I just got a German Shepherd puppy and she is just sosoos cute. ;D Few questions though... !) Her body color is all black but has tan feet. Will that color change any or what she is now stays? Because they say the tan will get wider...  SHe is 11 weeks today. Been house training her and things are well if I watch her. BUt even when I walk her at 12am, I still wake up with "accidents" all over at 6 am.   ??? If it is just that then okay. But she just steps and sits and sometimes lay on it  :'(.... So every morning I have to bathe her. I know I shouldn't bathe her so much but she's full of pee all over. I even try not to crate her at night and put her on a leash so she has more room to avoid the poo and pee but for some? For some reason when I wake up in the morning she still full of it. Does anyone have the same problem I do. She is a mostly indoors dog. She free roams  most of the house in the morning but I need to confine her at night time. Can anyone give me advise or expirence? Who has gone through the same thing?  :)
