my little zero has the worst toe nails ever. They are so brittle and break all the time. he has some food allergies and so his toes get very red and painful. Because of this we have a very hard time trimming his nails, so they get long. they are always shattering but our worst problem is the top shell of the nails, breaks and lifts up. it is broken all the way to the skin and it just lifts like a car hood i'd guess, if  you could imagine? now, those who know bullies, broken limbs etc. and a bully is still as active as can be... (so we try to keep them quiet, ugh, not on this life time). But this injury is so painful that zero is limping and crying... we do pull them, which immediately takes the limping away, but is there any other things we could do to prevent? suppliments, etc???

As alot of you know, we have been having health issues with memphis for the last few months. as this month progressed, he lost control of his bowels, and most of his mobility. Getting him outside took about 10 minutes, to walk approx 15ft. he was always falling down, when walking when just standing and even when he was pottying. it had gotten to the point he would cry when he was moving, and always hunched in his neck/back...
Today we made the decision to let him cross. he told us it was time, his eyes showed us. he will never be forgotten... and always loved.
Memphis is now playing with his big brother Zeussy, Tenchi, Ellie, Maverick and all of our other loved ones who are at the bridge...

Sleep well Memphis, we will never forget you.
 

So, as you all know, Canada gets way too much snow, well my area does anyways, im not complaining though. i LOVE it! and the dogs love it. ok, maybe not all of them. reba hates it, and memphis can't seem to walk well in it. well, the last week we've had Nothing but snow. i think one day without snowfall and it just keeps coming. so lets start with November snow pics, shall we?

Since halloween is TOMORROW, i hope you are all ready! we already had that pumpkin post, but i thought i'd post my own topic here... want to share halloween pics, pumpkins, costumes, pet costumes, etc?

So, Labour day, i got my heart tattoo, from sweeney todd- did i post it here? Probably not? I dont remember. anyways... My friend Steph (who has done tattoos for years) did it for me. here is the pic

Anyways- Darcy has been practicing tattoos for a while now, and we decided it was time to try it on REAL skin... So i let him do one on me... Its two bull terrier heads.... as you can see by the head shape, there is Zero in the back, and Jigsaw in the front... his first tattoo. what do you think? I think its amazing! i designed it myself...
