Hi All, I have been enjoying reading your posts and looking at the pics. Let me introduce myself. My name is Timmie. Ilive in Las Vegas, NV. I currently have 2 Poms and m looking to add a larger breed dog to the family. My 15 yr old daughter and myself are interested in Danes. We have both loved the breed for sometime. So we are on our search for our 1st Dane. I have filled out a lot of apps for rescues. Actually, my daughter has her eye on Cassie a the deaf dane rescue in Oregon. But now I think maybe we should just get a Puppy. My Poms are Gunner (8 yr old neutered male), and Irie (5 yr old spayed female). Irie is definately the the head of the household. I figured having a puppy might be better just so the dane can grow up knowing my 2 Poms. Worries me to have an older rescue dog with my little dogs. Because my dogs can not be nice at times. I have recently hired a trainer to work with the little dogs and teach a few manners before the other dog arrives and then we will have all of them in training. So I would appreciate any thoughts and comments.
