i just read this last nite... what i don't understand is... why'd someone VOLUNTARILY do this? there's no money involved in fostering 100+ pets is there? i mean... why'd this woman want to keep 100 pits? i don't see the logic behind her actions... does she actually think she's helping the dogs?

this just started happening 2 days ago. and is happening twice a day. we're talking HUGE st. bernie puddles. random locations inside the apt. we THINK she's protesting us not taking her out / letting her play w/ cody but i'm still not reading her behavior very well. we've started taking both dogs out together and letting them play for extended amount of time together. they'll both go to the toilet during the play time. whereas before, we'd walk them separately and bring them back upstairs right away.

how should i counter this? i'm thinking: separating their walk time. letting her only go pee/poop, bring her right back, and then letting them play inside instead?

ugh. if i had my way.... i woulda been wearing nikki's fur to work this morning...

she peed in the house twice yesterday. once right in front of my face. i blv because i was being too 'slow' taking her out and not giving her enough attention while i was grabbing treats/leashes...

excellent timing.. i was JUST thinking about posting cuz... nikki's breath is beginning to STANK.. and we jus got back from a $250 teef cleaning for cody (who, at 4, has essentially lost his entire right lower canine due to wear, and is apparently headed towards heavy teeth loss in the future)...

cody hates nyla bones... (and god forbid if he keeps dropping it onto the hardware floors, my neighbor might lynch me)... and nikki HATES her jaws being handled... but i think i'm gonna start brushing 'em both once a week... :sigh:

YiKeS. Oswego is faaarrr burbs... It's even far from GR8DAME in Lyons! the Chicago Montrose doggy beach is not even worth your drive ;)

AND it might rain sunday so the oak park/forest park thing might be iffy for me... otherwise, PM me and we can meet up w/ the doggies on Sunday!

man.. nikki had the worst case of the hiccups this morning. it just would not go away. since i can't SCARE her, how do i stop it the next time?

i know puppies hiccup and mostly they go away as adults... and the mechanism is much like the human hiccups, etc... just curious. that's all..

** 4 days later, not a peep from the landlord nor the downstairs lady.
** i've started a building-wide snobbing campaign against her. spoke to 6 neighboring couples and gotten everyone on my side...  ;D
