Good Morning Everybody! Well, i got my Gus a companion on Thusday. She is a mix but she looks just like a little Rotty puppy. I know this could potentially be controversial but I named her Justice because of everything that is going on in the world right now. I think it fits her. Gus is just beside himself that he has someone to play with! its really cute. She is still a little frightened of me, but shes warming up quickly. So far the whole potty training thing is going as well as expected fro a puppy that has been outside since she was born, but she will get better. But for now, im becoming a pro on carpet cleaning! Anybody have any tips on paper training? I want her to learn to hold it until I get home eventually but until she gets there I would like to paper train her. I will post pictures of her as soon as I get the chance to take some. I want to know your opinion on the paper training and what you think of her name. Thanks everyone!

Thanks for all the advice! I figured it was normal, it's just so gross!!! It's like he's foaming at the mouth over some other dogs pee! YUCK! Oh, how do I post his picture when i do a post? He has a pw print I just figured it would do it automatically but it doesnt.

Ok, so gus has been doing this really strange thing lately, and I need some help to figure out what it is. When i take him out to go pitty he does his business but every noe and then he will find a scent and do this thing with his mouth then when he looks up at me he has this white foamy stuff all over his mouth. Its disgusting and I try and watch him to stop it before it happens. Im sure its totally normal but  I've never seen it before and it's bothering me. Any ideas??

I have a medium one and he's perfect!  Roll Eyes  But I am another person who also loves BIg dogs but I just dont have the space. It cant get to a point where they;re getting too big though. I mean, how far will ppl go before we have dogs the size of horses! haha

Thats a good idea. He would love a ball that would be a challenge to give him a treat. Im nervous b/c last night was the first night in the new place and he did great, but Im at work now and hes by himself. I went to the store last night and he did good but that was only for about 30 minutes. This will be 5 hours until my lunch break and another five until I go home. I think he'll be ok though. Theres all kinds of new sounds, and its really funny to watch him perk up all the time. So, Ill be a nervous wreck today but after this I think Ill be alright. Hes a good boy, so I really shouldnt be worried at all. Thanks for all the advice you guys. The dog walker was a good idea too. How much should that cost?

Ya he looks nothing like his mother did. I never thought of pit but thats an idea. Not a mean bone in his body, but he does prefer women over men. He his sooo attached to me too. I try to love on him as often as possible! Hes spoiled rotten

He doe great by hi,self in the backyard. He has a ton of toys to play with and he can bark at the next door neighboors dogs and the stray cats. He is so excited when I come home though! The animal planet is definetley something that will be on both my tvs allday for him so its not totally quiet. I think he'll be ok I just feel so bad.  Cry

Thanks, I know hes just got a baby face and those floppy ears! I always think of him as my travel size German Shepard, thats what he looks like to me.!! HAHA!!

Hey everybody, I need some advice. Well my roommate walked out on me last month so Im having to leave my house with the big back yard and to an upstairs apartment. im worried about my boy. His first two months were spent in an apartment but ever since hes had other dogs and plenty of space. I work 10 hour days but luckily ill be moving really close to work so ican go home on my lunches. But, he'll still be there an awful lot by himself. Im getting him all kinds of new toys and bones to keep him busy, but is there any advice you guys can give to make sure he dosent tear up anything or have too much anxiety? He'll go with me to my sisters once or twice a week to play with their two dogs but I feel terrible, but theres just no way I can part with him. I just love him way too much, Ill do anything. Any advice will help! thanks bunches!!!    Grin

HELLO EVERYONE, IM PRETTY NEW TO BPO BUT I READ ALL OF YOUR MESSAGES AND YOU GUYS ARE FUNNY! i JUST WANTED TO SEE IF ANYONE MIGHT HAVE AN IDEA OF WHAT MY GUS IS MIXED WITH. HE'S A YEAR AND A HALF OLD SO HES DEFINETLEY FULL GROWN, BUT IVE MADE ALL KINDS OF GUESSES AS TO WHAT HE IS? HE HAS THE CUTEST FACE AND NICE COLORS BUT IVE GONE FROM SHELTIE TO TERRIER TO SHEPHARD AND I JUST DONT HAVE A CLUE. IF ANYONE HAS AN IDEA I WOULD APPRECIATE IT. THANKS! I CANT SEEM TO GET HIS PICTURE BUT HES UNDER PAW PRINTS FOR GUS IS NORMAN OKLAHOMA  ! THANKS AGAIN !
