I also need to track down Jackie this weekend.  She is a registered nurse and can work some horrendous hours so maybe that is why she hasn't responded.  Have you tried her phone yet?

Have you tested her thyroid?  In some dogs hair loss is the only symptom.

The pink spot on the nose is not that uncommon in the pure whites.  Add kelp to their food - it will help darken up the pigment.

One of our puppies has a pink spot so we sing to him  'Rudolph the pink nose Pyrenees'
he loves his song

Person to contact is Jackie at 410 531 3008  or email at Berneses9@aol.com.  The dog is located just outside of Baltimore and Jackie is a great person to work with.  I have worked with these shy Pyrs before and it is a heartbreaker to have such a gentle breed to be so frightened.  You have to wonder what the dog went through with her being so thin and all.

Well I'm the oddball  I keep food down 24 hours a day in the house and out in the kennel.  For dogs that need a little extra we either cook for them or give canned food twice a day in addition.  The dogs self regulate and I have zero problem with bloat or obesity or food aggression.

I had 2 bitches who survived Parvo- however both died at 8 years old with liver failure - vet thought it was linked to parvo as a puppy

Both the CDC and EPA currently recognise bleach as an effective broad based disinfectant.  It is also commonly recommended and used in healthcare environments.  I would be interested in knowing more info on disclaimers to this standard info  I know alcohol pretty much doesn't kill a lot of microbes but have never heard this about bleach

Thanks to Rachel of this list and her friend Erica for coming over to play with the puppies  They were great!  As mom's we forget how to really play sometimes- too busy picking up poop!  So its wonderful when we have puppy savvy people come in.  My neices have also been coming every weekend and nothing like kids to socialize puppies.

Shamomile is good - she is very laid back  I used to grow it too - very pretty plant.  Uh Oh - I LIKE Tea and Toast since I have so many 'Tea" names but how about Long Island Iced Tea - something I could use right about now.
