Laika's tail is docked 1/3, thank goodness. I get bruises from it now, I'd hate to see how much it'd hurt if I got wacked with the whole thing!!

A miscarriage is one of the worst things a woman could go through. Whatever you do, don't try to be strong - talk, cry, be hysterical, whatever you feel like doing, just DON'T try to bottle it up! I tried doing that, and a year later had a complete break-down.

HAHAHA...when you feed your dogs, do the food dishes end up on the other side of the room by the time they're finished? It's so annoying to have to follow the trail of food crumbs and slobber to find the food dish!!!

Yeah, this one is only about a mile from here. I don't know how I've always missed it, because it's on a road that we travel pretty frequently.

And our food bowls were in desperate need to be changed!!! The old bowls were those cheap tin ones that come out of the food/2 liter water combo thing. Ya know, the one you can get at Wal-Mart for about $.97? Haha...the only reason Laika was getting fed three times a day was because we couldn't fit all of her food in there when we fed her twice a day!!

Since we moved down here I've been searching for a pet store other than PetSmart, but I had almost given up. Then I saw it - a pretty small feed store. I decided to give it a try. I walked in and almost dropped to my knees and kissed the floor. It was doggy lover's heaven!!! REAL bones, dozens of brands of dog food, great toys and treats, AH I'm in heaven!!! I bought lots of great bones for the pups and some new food bowls. I am definitely going back there!!! The few dollars extra is totally worth it!!

Alright, definitely going to get some oxy-clean today!

Another downside to Laika's destuction: I have a meeting with the board today, so I wanted to wear my khaki pants. Well, that and I haven't done laundry all week and the khakis are the only things clean. Problem is, Laika ate all my white underwear, and now I only have dark-colored underwear, and Justin confirmed that you can DEFINITELY see them through the khakis. Soooo now I have to decide if the butt is too jiggly-wiggly today to wear no unders, or if I want to wear some dirty pants. UGH decisions!!

Oh my goodness, sounds like Moose's name should've been Houdini!!! That's impressive!!

Unfortunately, I refuse to shop at Wal-Mart, so I'll have to look for that stuff somewhere else. I've had a few horrible run-ins with Wal-Mart and finally told them I'd never be back. I've learned to do without the convenience, but it's been hard!

Laika's 9 months, and up till now she's been fantastic when left alone, but we're going to start crating her again. I think it has something to do with the whole rebellious phase she's going through, because she is REALLY rebelling.

Yeah, I forgot about the spoon Laika got ahold of. We're still trying to figure out how the heck she got it, because we're really good about putting dishes in the sink.

Okay, so this whole destructive mood Laika's in has GOT to stop. She's totally lost freedom priviledges when we're gone. All week we've come home to a new thing destroyed. It started out as just socks, underwear, bags (apparently she's not a Disney princess type of girl), the cord to our air hockey table, and boxes. But last night we came home, and there were pieces of hard plastic all over the den. Couldn't figure it out, until we looked under the foozball table. There was a huge black spot on our white carpet. Yes, she chewed up one of my gel pens. I spent about an hour scrubbing and steam-cleaning it last night, but you can definitely still see it. ARGH!

Maybe she's just freaked out about the hormones and everything? I have no idea...Have you tried giving her some of the relaxing medicine? I thought I remembered you talking about giving her medicine because she was so nervous, but I could be completely wrong. Maybe the whining has nothing to do with pain, maybe she's just freaked out.
