Hey Michelle! I didn't see this thread before.

I know about the dog park in Westville. Its called Bluhm County Park. I've never been there because its more of an agility park and my boy is like...anti-agility! haha! There is also a GREAT dog beach in the Dunes National Lakeshore. Its called Central Beach. Have you heard of it? I go there ALL THE TIME and its where we had our meet and greet last year!

Ive never heard of it...how do you get there? Maybe I`ll take Madie there this weekend. Its either the beach or the park after puppy class on Saturday.

Well if anyone wants to join me this weekend I think I will take Madisyn after her puppy class Saturday as like a reward for doing well there. We`ll hit the park or the beach after we stop at Pet Supplies PLus in Valpo and grab her a puppy ice cream. Haha

IM feeding Madisyn Canidae All Stages. It contains no wheat, soy, corn or fillers. She loves it and its good for her. It contains healthy ingredients and it dide make the list for the top dog foods. It isnt that much more than the regular brands of dog food that you buy at WalMart or the grocery. THe regular All Stages (which contains fish, lamb, chicken and another meat product) is about 22-23 for a 20lb bag and about 34 for a 40lb bag. The Chicken and Rice is a little cheaper but it only contains just that chicken and rice. My dogs have gotten bored with it honestly.

Our Kate has been on Canidea All Stages since we brought her home from the breeders. She loves it, we love it (her poops are always firm) and we've never had any reason to think about switching her off of it ;)  She maintains a perfect weight and hasn't gotten sick of eating it (yet anyhow)! :D

Yea I havent had a problem with Canidae either. I read somewhere that it is in the top 5 brands of food. The people I got Madie from had her on Purina Puppy Chow. I looked at the ingredients and said no way was I feeding ym baby this garbage.

I have Madisyn (my 16wk Golden Retriever) and Toby (my 8 y/o doxie) on this food. They seem to like it. Is anyone else feeding their little guys this? If so what is your opinion on this food. I have found that the 2 of them like the All Stages Regular better than the chicken and rice formula. The all stages has fish, turkey, chicken, and lamb in it...along with alot of other good stuff.

Madisyn will not eat tomatoes...she`ll put it in her mouth and then spit it right out.

Thanks for telling me about this place. It seems like a good place. Oh!! That dog park I was telling you about is in Westville. My cousin corrected me when I mentioned it to him. I might take Madisyn there this weekend or something. Another person recommended that park too and said there are a bunch of people there w/there dogs on the weekends and there are dogs of all ages there. Maybe we could meet up or something. Just have to find out what the weather is going to be like.

Hey! It's me Megan with Maggie the dobie and Roxie the min pin. Glad to see you joined the site! ;D
