waiting on pins and needles...that humane society and foster lady sound totally lame, BTW. Why in the world, seriously, would she think that you would allow, or much less WANT, her to take lil' boss man overnight?Huh? That's just stupid! All my thoughts are with your little guy.  Kiss

THANKS, ya'll!!! I relaxed, and as it turns out, Kai is fine. She had some super ultra mega smelly gas, and a bit of runny poos, but that's it. She didn't have much of an appetite for dinner that night, but that's what happens when you eat a slice of cake half as big as your head, I guess. Hubby is less than thrilled with the counter surfing, so I have to figure out what to do about that. Last week she stole two ears of fresh corn on the cob off the counter and shredded them all over the place. Last night she helped herself to my son's bowl of ice cream. Oh, and on Sunday morning, she reached up and whapped hubby on the head while he was sleeping.  Sad She is on his naughty list right now, but I can't help but thing all her antics are kind of cute and charming! Wink

No vet will charge you for bringing in a stray. I found two yorkies in a small crate at the park a few months ago, and took them to the nearest vet. Not only did they scan the pups, but they worked with AVID to track down where the pups came from, AND they did exams, AND they kept the pups there and found them homes. All I did was find them and bring them in! You'll probably find your local vet to be very helpful...Good luck!

Caught up in the festivities of my son's 5th birthday party today, Kai found it difficult to resist the last piece of chocolate Iron Man cake on the counter. I stepped away and BAM - dog gulps cake, licks plate and looks not in the least bit remorseful as she licks the last bits of icing off her nose. So of course, I'm sort of freaking out. My dog at a giant piece of chocolate cake. Should I do anything? What should I watch for if she's going to have problems from the chocolate? Roll Eyes  HELP!

Aw, poor kitty boy. Sounds like he's on the mend though - purring and eating are certainly good signs! You've done a really good thing for him, you know. Imagine if he were still in foster care eating chicken? He's so tiny, he'd probably not make it. You probably literally saved his life. You go girl! Mend that kitty up and give him the most boyish boy name you can think of. A big strong tough name, like Butch or, I don't know, whatever names sound big and tough! Spike! Diesel! Hercules! Boss! Ooooh - Wolverine! (Sorry for that last one - we are a very Marvel Superhero family, and Wolverine is super tough!) Anyway, good for you. He will love you for the rest of his life!

Oh, the health issues are so scary. I hope it's parasites or worms cuz that is easy to treat! I think it's hillarious that he's a he after all!!!! OMG, that is TOOOOOO funny! Just pick a unisex name like Sam or Jamie (my daughter's name!) or Randy. That way, you're covered if someone else comes along and says no, it's definately a girl!! Wink
