Gibson is getting white hairs on his forhead. I like it. He is 8 months old. He was to have a white chest and one white paw, this has not appeared yet. He has a few white hairs on his chest. When do New Foundlands get their true markings?

help me. Gibson(a 6 month old New Foundland)is always biting at my hands. Not to hurt me but it is driving me nuts. Sometimes I sit on my hand just so he won't nipe at them. He doesn't bite to hurt just nipes. Is it because the treats come from my hand?

« on: January 11, 2009, 02:44:28 am »
I have a 6 month old New foundland, male. I have the chance of getting a 10 month old Saint Bernard. She advertised on the net( feel sorry for her). I have been told more than one dog they will run, travel. Will they get along? Do you think it is a good idea or not? she has not been fixed and no shots from what I understand, my newfy is not to be fixed until two years old. I was told by breeder this would produce a bigger head? please send advice.

Saint Bernard General Discussions / Help

I was wandering about getting a Saint Bernard advertised in the net. It needs a good home. I have a 6 month old New Foundland. I am wondering how well they would get along and the expence. The Saint Bernard is a female and I would have to have her fixed. They want $600.00 for her-no papers.

I am the proud owner(I don,t know who owns whom) of a 5 month old New Foundland pup, Gibsons Finest.  I have a few questions. My pup is a silver grey, I thought this is normal but is it? I realized this morning when out of our walk that I could not control this pup if he decided to go. We live in the country so there is no people or animals around.
