Barkley sure was a patient boy... I loved those stories.
I think that you know in your heart when the time is right for another pup. When we lost Katie last year. We said we were going to try having just one dog. Weeeeeeeelll three weeeks later we had gone and visted a breeder and had a deposit on Farley ::)

Now we have 3 ::) dogs ....so much for having only one...lol

the fact that you are looking for another pup like Barkley is a tribute to him and his personality as well as your love for him.

I'm SO happy for you.  There is not a better band-aid in the whole world for a broken heart than a Newf-pup!!  I'm sure you  will be counting the months, weeks, days, hours, minutes until he arrives home!!! ;)

Definetely agree! They are so cuddly and bound to make you smile as they clumsily grow up and explore! Great to hear you are getting a new pup  :)
