He went in for his hip surgery recheck. They said his hip is healing nicely. We told them he is still limping on his front leg ( The one he broke last winter slipping on the snowy stairs). They xrayed it and said he is already developing arthritis in it.
So a months worth of Adequan was prescribed, it is an I.M. injectable that I have to give him every 3 or 4 days. A 30 day supply of Firocoxib was also prescribed. For those 2 prescriptions it was $185.00
I wonder if I can find these drugs anywhere else for cheaper. He is also on Cosequen. I did find those on E bay for a lot cheaper than at the vet. Tealk's attitude is good he doesn't seem to mind limping although it hurts me. Please send healing vibes to my baby, as I cannot afford to pay 185.00 every month for more prescriptions.
