The new designer dog - the Mini-Saint Bernard

So..if these "designer" dogs are created from high quality purebreds, where do they get the purebreds? What responsible breeder would allow their puppies to be used for this purpose? 

Secondly,(and this is an opinion of course) if some attention starved person wants to buy a dog for those reasons stated....get a St.Bernard!

LOL. I sent the 'breeder' a link to this conversation. This is what they said:
