I just visited the SPCA in Visalia and there is two very good looking Saint Bernards labeled as strays. One male and one female both 1 year old. Can someone give me a clue as who to call? I've been checking rescue sites but none make it easy to notify them.

Regards,
Michael

I have had the same problem.  I know of a St. in Jacksonville, FL who needs adopting as well.  I attempted to notify a St. Rescue that I got off of the St. Bernard Club webpage, but it came back undeliverable.  If anyone knows who I can contact I would appreciate it!

Ok...I finally got through to a live person at the Saint rescue and I have to say that this was the most difficult page to navigate ever! I spent like 20 min. just trying to find a person to contact.  Angry Anyhow, I got ahold of someone who is now getting the ball in motion to remove the babies. Hopefully, they will be removed soon and will be placed with a great foster family!

Hugs,

We adopted our Saint from Wisconsin St. Bernard Rescue.  Try e-mailing Jan at wstresq@jmuch.com.  She can help you get these dogs into rescue because she knows everybody!  (Just don't tell her you got the info from me.  She's swamped with dogs and will KILL me if she finds out I'm volunteering her for more!)
