Zoey is a skinny minny

We took Zoey to the vet today to get her checked out because she has been sick the past week. The verdict was that she is generally healthy and her tummy is inflammed either from an infection or from her food being too rich, so we are waiting on lab results to see which one. In the meantime she is LOVING her temporary warm hamburger/rice diet

Get this though: my Zoey has lost 20lbs  :o We put her on a little diet at the beginning of the year to reduce her weight to protect her hips, and now she is down to 105lbs. She looks like this is the perfect weight for her. I just can't believe how much she lost  :o

Lets see some pics of this svelte new Zoey!  (OK, I just want ANY pics of your beautiful girl and this sounds like a great excuse!  LOL)

I wanted to post pics with the original post but my camera is lost  :-[ I even spent half an hour looking for it today and it is no where to be found. As soon as it appears I am going to go back to posting lots of pics!

Poor Zoey - I hope she's feeling better soon!  ;)

But, I'm glad to hear you've found a happy weight for her that will make it easier on her hips - that's absolutetly terrific - CONGRATS!!!  ;D

I would like to see the pics too, when you find your camera that is!  ;)

YAY! I found my camera :)

I attempted to take pics while she was out sniffing the yard but they all came out terrible - they are blurry and she isn't looking, but at least you can tell her size.  :-X

YAY!!! Just what we wanted to hear! And she looks so stylin' in her keg! I bet all the boy Big Paws just DROOL over her...not that they need any excuse to drool but you know what I mean ;)

I tell ya, if Zoey is not spayed I would be sorely tempted to bring Gershwin by to meet her...and see what happens ;). She is a gorgeous girl.
