Almost a non-lurker...
« on: July 28, 2006, 10:38:31 am »
Alright. I admit it. I've been reading all your posts for some time and gleanign information from all of you for months. Now, the time has come!
Currently, we're talking with a lady about adopting her three year old newfoundland. So far, so good and everything is going well. Soooo... cross your fingers because it looks like we're going to be parents within a week!!

I know... nothing is set in stone yet, but I'm just so excited that I had to share with someonelse  :)

I'm Sandy and I love Newfs! :)  We don't have a Newf right now but hold one dear to our heart (see my avatar for our beloved Barkley) and are hoping to add at least one Newf to our be buddies with our sweetie big paw - Sheba, lab/rottie mix.  Welcome aboard and can't wait to see pics of your new buddy!

Well, now we're just waiting to hear back from her. The excitment is killing me, I'm checking my emails every 5 minutes like a dork. Thanks for all the warm welcomes! Ahh.. I just want to know if we get to take him home!

He's ours!!!   It's been a stressful week waiting to find out if we get him or not, but we get to keep him! Now we just have to figure out when we get to bring him home!

And now I get to go baby shopping. There's bowls to get and food and treats and more treats and toys and more toys...  poor dog is going to be so deprived, can't you tell?
