Rocky has started growling
« on: August 21, 2006, 08:28:11 am »
Hi all,

My Rocky has started growling if you try to take something out of his mouth.  I am a little worried, because he seems to do it more to the kids (6yrs and 7yrs old). Any suggestions on how to stop this?

He is now six months and I am wondering if that is a sign of aggresiveness and I should get him neutered sooner than I had planned?

Also, once his hormones have kicked in, does neutering really make a difference?

Read "Alpha Boot Camp"...I think it covers about everything you'll need to know...Also, I can't remember if it mentions it but my trainer says to trade the dog  for something he can have when you need to take something away.
You are smart to take this kind of behaivor serious now while he is still a pup...Kudos! :)
