how much per dog? if the dog weight 17 lbs. how much benedryl?

I have been told 1mg per pound by my vet, but you are talking for my 150 lb dane. In a dog only 17 lbs, I would omly give about 10 mg. That would mean you would need to get the infants or children's formula and go from there.

Just take a benedryl and cut it in half....  One benedryl is 25mg so if you cut it in half you will be fine.

As the other person said... 1mg per lb

Dogs are so much better than me.

A 25 mg Benedryl puts me out like a light for HOURS. If I took 1 mg per pound, I'd be in a coma!
