I was hoping to get my own Giant breed... and I ws waiting on the Ultra Sound results...but found out  a couple days ago that the Leonberger mom-to-be wasn't pregnant
Now I am all bummed out...
However, there are a few Great Pyrenees 'breeders', I will just have to keep a close eye in the papers.  They are a little more popular then Leonbergers around here.

Sad sorry to hear that the mum is not pregnant, but if it makes things any better the same happened to me a year ago.

We waited for what seemed like ages for the scan only to find the leo mum did not catch  Cry ............ but on the other hand i am happy to say that a year later and with  the same leo bitch we go and collect our  puppy in just over a weeks time .

Any way i have watched  this forum for quite some time now and thought i had better say hello :0) and ask for any advice any one has as this will be my 1st leonberger, i also have a liver spot dalmatian and a golden retriever.

Amber our liver spot dalmatian passed away after 14.5 years r.i.p.
Ben our 9 year old rescue golden retriever
Callie our 18 month old Leonberger.
Troy our 8 week old leonberger.

Awww that is to bad, but, i would not jump to getting a pyr, have you been around them?
they are known barkers, they do that becouse in gaurding a flock that is how they keep away the enemy.
Sometimes the breed you want, you have to wait longer, if a leo is what you truly want, than try to find another breeder.
we searched for over a year, than had to wait 8 months before we got our first newf, well worth the wait.
