 We live in Ohio but my wife has a farm in Kansas and we drive across Missouri 6 to 8 times a year. What town are you near??

i'm in springfield, mo. looking for an irish wolfhound or  great dane...rescue or breeder...any suggestions?

Matt,
www.ginnie.com is a good website for information on rescues by state and also has a very good list of dane breeders by state. I can't vouch for anyone listed, but it can give you a jumping off spot for your own research. As far as IW goes, I can't help you there. As per the other thread, I lucked in on my dane/IW mix on www.petfinders.com at a county animal control about four hours away from my home. I do know that two or three of his siblings were picked up by Gentle Giants, the rescue that Burt Ward runs. I have no idea if they are still there and that rescue has had alot of controversy lately. Sorry I counldn't be more help.

I am in VA, anyone in VA with Danes. I know a couple of others and we meet up like once an month to let the doggies play. I have three Danes

Sorry Im in NC, no danes either, but mastiffs and danes play real good together. Hmmmm not that, that was much help when I am not even remotly close. Good Luck  :D

Sorry, I'm in So Ca.  But when I was looking for danes, I simply googled dane rescues and breeders.  I ended up getting him off of puppyfind.com, but I would be wary if you're going to look at that site, alot of them looked like byb.

Unfortunatly,I don't have a Dane. I only have a Pyr. I want a Dane, too. Really bad. I just came from St.Charle's Doggy Days of Summer... and met the rescue Danes.
Untill then I've never petted or loved on a Dane what so ever. Now.... gah, I'm  in total love.
