I need some information on Great Pyrenses breed. My mother in law is accuiring  a male and female to watch her goats. Will take any suggestion infomation and education on breed.

Here is a link to a group where there are Great Pyrenees owners whos dogs are LGD's...I hope I'm not stepping on any toes here posting the link to the group but they have been a wealth of info. on my couch potato Pyr's behaviors...Do the dogs your Mom aquired come from gaurding stock?...What is the background of their parents?...How old are the dogs?...What kind of info. in particular are you looking for?...Good luck & I would love to see a pic of the dogs if possible!

The yahoo groups are great and there are a few groups that discuss Livestock Guardian Dogs, I have a pyr to guard my goats, and she does a brilliant job!
