Special is home!

Well, she's here.

It was a long day getting her...delays in transport, getting lost, etc. But, we finally have her home. She acts as if she has never seen a house before. She paces and paces and paces and paces and gets into EVERYTHING! Its...trying. hahha! So, I'm going to get her a crate today and we're going to start working on boundaries..an d potty training.

So, without further ado, here is Special!

Yes, she is shaved. So she looks funny. My neighbor thought she was a Newf-a-doodle!!!

Yeah, Blair. She's our newf-foster. hehehe...I hope she blossoms, too. She is a MAJOR sweetie pie, but has some manners and boundaries to learn. I think she'll be a quick study, too. Thanks for the confidence!

She is 3 years old and weighs 106 pounds. I think she probably should put on like..oh...may be 10 pounds? She's pretty thin. What do you think?

hahahha, he doesn't! He basically just ignores her. They regard one another, and will lay in the same general area...and no fighting or anything. But they aren't best friends yet.

Nicole, I'm sooo happy for you!  Special has such a sweet-goofy-Newfie face!  I agree with everyone else:  she will settle in and learn the rules in no time.  They are so smart and want to please!  Where did she come from ?  What's her back ground?  How did she lose her eye? (isn't that why she's 'Special'?)
