Too much fish?
« on: August 28, 2007, 06:45:08 pm »
Hi I started feeding my golden and lab mix blue buffalo sweet potato and fish a couple months ago because i thought they were having allergy problems but to make a long story short they are recovering from sarcoptic mange. Is eating the this food giving them too much fish? Also  golden is trying to regrow some hair he lost because of this and I know this food can also be good for the skin (which is why they were put on it initially) but is it too much fish?  ???

I don't think that it's too much fish.  Fish is really good for dogs with sensative stomachs. The fish is also a great sourse of Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.  These help give your pups a shiney coat.  If you're wanting something for their skin you might switch to Blue's lamb and rice recipe.  Just a thought.
