I am very sad to say that we had to let our St. Bernard, Harley go yesterday.     It was the hardest decision I have ever had to make, but I know it would have been selfish of me to put him through anymore. He was doing well on the sterroids until Tuesday evening, then he stopped eating and drinking and was panting and not able to get comfortable.

He  will be missed by many people, but I know he is in a better place now. He was a Certified Therapy Dog and frequently went to nursing homes and hospitals to put smiles on the elderly and childrens faces. But most of all, he was the pride and joy of me and my husband and he added so much to our lives.

I am attaching a few of my favorite photos of my big guy. Thankfully we went to a professional photographer and had these taken almost 2 years ago, so I will always have these to remind me of my special guy.

This picture we had blown up very large and is hanging above our couch in our living room.

Thank you to all who have sent their prayers.

Stacie

Awww Stacie, I'm so sorry for you loss!  :'(  The hardest thing to decide is "when it's time" and they always seem to let us know.  RIP Sweet Harley. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about your beloved Harley - it is obvious from your photo how much he was loved and returned that love.

I hope your photots and sweet memories help with your pain.
