Thanks everyone - it went really well. Rollie was being super cuddly before his new owner showed up, so I got some good quality good-bye time with him. Then, amazingly, he got into the trailer quite easily - we were shocked. Maybe he was ready for a change? Who knows - but it definitely made it a bit easier.

I was crying pretty hard when the trailer drove away , and when he "whinnied" it was hard to hear. I was a mess (but really) it went well and I feel good about his new owner. Still sad, but good
