NO DOGS ALLOWED
« on: April 21, 2007, 06:00:52 pm »
Has anyone noticed that dogs seemed to be BANNED everywhere now?? Seriously, we are trying to socialize Atlas and yesturday at moab it was NO DOGS HERE NO DOGS THERE, but they can go in the parking lot.... I dont get it. It's getting worse too. Even in parks, dogs cant go on the grass, or near the water... it sucks..  >:(

yes, i've noticed that, too.  here, dogs are allowed on the trails, but not the grass.  allowed on the trails but not allowed to pee on the grass  ???  some parks completely ban them.  pretty stupid.

Our town is horrible about that!  We don't have any dog parks, but even if the town has public social things going on, they specifically say NO DOGS.  It's kinda irritating, because Koby is perfect in public and I'd like to take him with me wherever I go but I can't.

Dogs are allowed in every park around here, I haven't found one yet where they're not. Of course, you have to pick up your dogs' poops or you could get fined, but hey - who wouldn't do that anyhow?

I think you should bring Atlas and move on up to western Canada!!! ;D ;D ;D

It's pretty cool that alot of places here allow dogs. ;D Were a pretty laid back community. But the only thing i hate is they are not allowed in the state parks or any beach but one, :-\ which is soo small and it's not really good for my kids. >:( I wish people were more open to our animals.

Go to "PROFILE" and then to "FORUM PROFILE INFORMATION" and you will be able to put in a picture!...or at least you should be able to! I am having a hard time in changing mine!

I guess they expect that with all the new technologies available a portable doggie john would have been created by now...consider ing all the limitations they are putting on a dogs natural instincts to go.

I think Ohio is becoming more dog friendly.  There are several dog parks and restaurants you can eat on the patio with your dogs in the Columbus area.
