Hi Ladies,

Gald to hear fumble is home!! Here is a collar you may want to look into.

http://www.handicappedpets.com/acc/nobite/index.htm

Also might have some other supplies to help during his recovery!!

Oh here are some ACL braces that might help too.

http://www.handicappedpets.com/k9brace/index.htm

Check with the surgeon first if you go for a brace. but being you are waiting a while for the other leg's surgery a splint might help take some strain off that bad ligament too.

thank you soo much for everyone's well wishes!!!  i actually took today off because i was pretty sure that the vet wasn't going to let us take him home until today, so i'm just laying out on the porch with him!  he's doing pretty good! sleeping right now.  he gets up and walks around the porch okay, a little shaky on the hind legs though.  it definatly will be interesting to see what happens with the other leg, being as it's about 75% torn, no completly though.  i definately think he's happy to be home though! Smiley  to go out we have to put a sling under his belly and hold on, just in case he trips or something.  still no poops or anything, but the vet tech said if he doens't in like 4 days we should put some pumpkin in his food or metamucil, just to kick it out of him.  but he's really only goign out 2-3 times a day right now.
the stitches look MUCH better today, a lot less red, i think it's cause hte bandage was just taken off right before we picked him up yesterday.  still pretty bruised, but he's definately starting to look like himself again Smiley  i'll post some pictures later for you all!!
