I have switched him to Innova Reg (Thanks Holly!) and he is starting to put some weight on again. I had mistakenly thought Canidae was higher in calories and now he is gaining steadily. Poor guy has had a rough couple of months.
Tenchi is doing well with his acupuncture too. Though it may look like he's 'free'in his pictures, he is actually being a very well behaved boy. He has learned that he has to either lay down or walk slowly when we are outside right now. I feel bad, because Tench will look at me hopefully and get that "ZOOMIE" gleam in his eye. However as soon as I sign "No, Easy!", he hangs his head and walks nicely over to my side. He is such a good boy. I wish that he could understand that I don't let him Zoom & Wrestle for a reason though, I feel so mean when I have to tell him no.
Health wise Tenchi is doing a lot better, he is done with his antibiotics for over a week now and hasn't regressed! His leg is getting stronger with his rehab exercises too. He is weight bearing on it for longer periods of time when standing and his limp is getting much better. I'm so glad that he pulled through, it was scary thinking that we were going to lose him.
