Hello! Introducing Aly & Luna

Hi everyone...
I just found this site and figured I should introduce myself. 
I am Aly and I am 25 years old, and I live in Calgary Alberta, Canada.  I have a wonderful black lab named Luna (sometimes known as Lunatic or LunaTunes  ;))
She is my Special Skills Service Dog.  I recently graduated with her (May 25, 07) and am starting to get into a routine with her and enjoying it very much! 
I got her from the Lions Foundation Dog Guide School in Oakville Ontario.  She is a wonderful dog and She is VERY smart too!
I am just her "mom" and I have been sick since Nov 2001 and now I have her to help me get around and do things.  ;D

wow congrats!! you two will become the best of partners i bet! welcome to bpo. we just had another service dog join about a week ago too! luna is a beauty.

Hi Aly!

Welcome! Its exciting to have a service dog and mom team join! I love to hear about dogs with jobs!

I'm Nicole and I'm mom to Cabeza, an 8 y.o. Chow/Newf mix, 3 cats, a 13 year old girl and my FIANCE. :)

And maybe soon to be Mabel, a Newf mix.

Hello and welcome!

Service dogs are such amazing animals.  I had the opportunity to work for CCI (canine companions for independence) for a few months and was amazed at all the work that goes into training a special needs dog.

My name is Chris and my crew consists of Keiko, a husky/shep mix, Gunther, a great dane, and Nigel and Posey, two rat terriers.

Hi Aly!  Welcome...You Luna is a beauty!  I'm Lori..mom to Marley OEM, Laney Yellow Lab, Monica and Jewel, chihuahuas and many birds, lizards and reptiles!  Its great to have you here..Cant wait to see more pics of Luna!  Shes a special girl!

Thank you all so much for the great welcomes and notes!!! I can't wait to get to know you all and your doggies too! Luna and I are just starting as a team 2 weeks ago (on our own after almost 3 weeks in school).  She's such a sweetie and I love her very much!

Welcome to the site- its probably the best site on the entire web. I am Paige and I have a whole crew here including 3 Danes, 4 Pyrs, a newf mix and some littles. Luna is gorgeous.
