How big will Tank be??
« on: July 14, 2008, 12:18:01 pm »
Tank is 18 inches tall and 55 lbs at 6 months old.

Tank is built more like a female newfie and he is a male.

How big do you think he will be when he is full grown?? At what age do Newfoundland's stop growing??

Also, here is a picture of him at 6 months old with my Mom.

But, he has grown a little since these pictures.

and, since I can not get a side profile picture of Tank, I found this picture. Tank's body looks just like this Newfies. Tank's face is more petite than this dogs.

Tank's paws are about the size of a full grown labs.

My Mom and I are going to weigh him today, to get his exact weight.

I wish we knew what he was mixed with too! :D

Mowglie is adorable! yea, Tank is much bigger than him. :D

It's tough to tell how big they will be..  you can look at the parents of Tank and maybe predict.  Fumble is going to be 3 very soon and he's still growing, so it's pretty unpredictable!

Good luck though!  he looks like he's got some room to grow!

We adopted Tank from a kill shelter so we have not idea what his parents are or look like.

awww... What great parents!!!  How rewarding it must have been to rescue such an adorable little guy!!! :)

I wouldnt worry about the size thing, he's got plenty of time to grow!! probably another 2 1/2 years!!  one cheat i alwyas used was fumble's paws... as long as they looked too big for his body i knew he was still growing!

Thanks!

Well, I do not really care how big he is because he is such a sweet awesome dog and is great with the dachshunds. No matter how big he is or what ever breed of dog he is, He is still awesome.
