Joker is home from Surgery
« on: July 16, 2007, 05:28:24 pm »
Joker is home from surgery yesterday and all went well. He doesn't seem to miss his tail. The doc is very happy with the cut. It isn't to long or to short. The infection was just getting worse and the doc said given another week another piece of his tail would have fallen off. This was our only resort or we would have lost him. He isn't liking the two weeks of bed rest. Titan wants to play too! I will be taking him back in this evening for another shot of pain killers and to pay. All this time and she keeps telling us to pay later. I got him to drink water this morning. This afternoon I will see about food. He doesn't want to go potty either. Won't step off the porch.

Aw poor guy. But at least he is home and not sick. He will come around in a few days. Keep giving him water so he doesn't dehydrate. Get well soon Joker.

I took him to the vet for his second pain meds shot. He was so in love with those ladies! lol What forgiveness... It was pretty funny though. One of the docs gave him the shot and said next time we come in, in 10 to 14 days, to pay for it. Ummm We had yet to pay anything since last week! I didn't want to wait even longer... Who knows what would have happened then. Pay when I come in for yearly shots? Anyways... they go to figure it up... and it is "Around 200" hahaha It is just a riot to not know what it costs for sure.
