Well.....

My landseer baby is going to be named Petunia. That's cuz Neptune is the God of the Sea, but she's going to be a girl, so I mixed it up to be Petunia.

For a boy, I don't know.

My friend has a kitty named Ramon. (That's pronounced like, "Rah-moan") and I really like it....

Petunia is a cute name.
I like naming big dogs little names so you can say "Come, Daisy" and have this big honkin' monster turn the corner and bark so loud the hair on the persons head blows back.  Not what they were expecting from a Daisy or Petunia.

Monty is cute, Nikki! I'm lovin' it!

Lins, yeah, I think the same thing. My dad always said he wanted to get a big honkin' dog and name it kitty, so that when he said, "Heeere, kitty kitty kitty.." a big old honkin' dog would come! Weirdo. hehehe! But, it is funny!

People name their skinkids after states.  That kinda irritates me.   Undecided  But that's just me.
I had to have my Gracey's name picked out so she would learn it from minute one.  And no she doesn't fit her name...but I love it and she answers to it which is a bonus.

My next girl dog will be Penelope. My favorite boy name is Kenobi but I shortened it to Obi since it is the breeder's "O" litter  Smiley

Thanks Lins!!! We had a male Rotti named Hogan but we lost him just over 6 months old. I love the name but it just did not seem fitting for our Vizsla. We really wanted a female V and her name would have been Gracie. My husband even liked it.LOL

I seem to like the german breeds and I always wanted to have a fawn male dane and name it Keltset, after a rock troll in the Sword of Shannara book series...Kelly for short.
No female names, I really prefer male dogs. No offense, girls.

Long long ago, my former boyfriend and I adopted a Great Dane/German Shepherd mix that we lost to parvo/distemper shortly after we brought him home (apparently he had caught it prior to their vaccinations?), and his name was Faust.  I always liked that name.

Now, I have too many names and breeds in my head to settle on one!
