Mallory is flying home!
« on: November 09, 2007, 05:56:17 pm »
Well, Mallory's breeder sent me a message tonight letting me know that Mallory will be arriving sooner that was planned, on a late flight Monday night.

I'll be running around the airport lost at almost midnight, but I couldn't be happier. The greatest part is one of her littermates is being shipped here with her so I'll get to meet Mallory's sister's owners. We'll be the clueless owners standing around with leashes in the dark.

I'll post new pictures of her Tuesday- her first full day at home!  ;D

Any tips for her first night at home?

From what I heard and did after...don't bring her straight home. Play with her outside for a while until she is tired and then bring her in. That way she won't get too confused and will be tired more that anything  ;)
I can't wait to see the pictures

Just an update- Mallory is now in the air and I'm tracking her flight in real time. She's over Colorado at the moment, and I only have to stare at this screen for three more hours before she arrives.  ;D

The next time I post, I'll have pictures of her in my arms.

I'm sorry that I'd missed this until now, but I'm so excited for you!  I remember those "in flight" days so clearly while we waited for Cara & Halley to arrive.  The day takes forever to go by, but when you see those puppy eyes looking at you through the crate, it's LOVE at first sight!!!  :-*   ;D  I can't wait to hear about Mallory's arrival and to see pics.  Congratulation s!
