I don't know what these people expected to see from these dogs.  They are one of the most forgiving of any species on the planet.  Even dogs that are kicked, starved, tied up and generally treated horribly, will still lick the hand that feeds them, even if it is only done occassionally.  I am so grateful for a feeling, caring, judge that gave them a chance at life, and allowed a pit bull rescue group, that cares and understands dogs to take responsibility for them, instead of turning them over to the whacked out idiots at HSUS or PETA.  This is a testament to what people and dogs can do when given a chance.
