Well, I like some of the names that have been mentioned. I've thought alot about this because I'm pregnant, too! We're having a boy, though.

I like:

Violette
Claira
Carys (Welsh, it means "love" and will be our next kids name if we have a girl, its pronounced Care-iss)
Josephine
Amelia
Giselle

I'm not a fan of unusual spellings, so I can't help you there!

Two unique names I like for a baby girl:

Ayda (eh-duh)

Ariana (are-eeee-ahhh-na)

Good Luck finding the perfect name!

P.S. Both Ayda and Ariana sound great with Elizabeth as the middle name Wink Wink

Well we decided on her name (I think)

Peyton Nicole McClarren

We were having some family jealousy issues with Elizabeth and I think  that Nicole sounds much better with Peyton.

I also like Teagan Nicole McClarren considering as you can tell by our last name we are Irish and Teagan is a very Irish name.  but hubby still loves Peyton so most likely that is what it will be Grin

I hear ya! I agonized over every one of my kids' names. Well, except my step-son's - he came named already! It is HUGE! I think your choice is excellent. It's a name you can imagine on a baby and a kid, but also a name that a grown woman can carry proudly.

I love that name, nice choice!  I agree that it's tough!  We have 3 boys and with 2 of them we didn't know their gender until birth, so we picked out names for both boys & girls.  My criteria for a good girl name was that it had to look good on a business card.   Wink  Grin

Sammy a 6-7(?) y/o Great Pyrenees adopted 3/07

YES - that's it! My criteria for naming is that it had to fit a kid, but also fit a lawyer or a doctor - something ultra professional. Classy, yet playful. I went with Jamie Victoria for my daughter, and my sons are Mason Daniel and Jackson Scott.  Grin

That is like I told my mom.  She was saying that she couldnt imagine certain names on a baby becuase they sounded to much for an adult.  But I told her that they would be an adult for longer than they would be a child.
