Lucca is 7 weeks and 19.5 lbs. o_O
« on: March 11, 2008, 09:23:14 pm »
Lucca turned 7 weeks old today  ;D We went to the vet yesterday and his weigh is currently 19.5 lbs -oh, my little big guy  :-* He's healthy and everyone falls in love with him. The vet is about 4-5 blocks away from my apt., so we just walk there... "we" meaning I walked, carrying his majesty all the way there after he wobbled the first block... I hope he's big/strong enough to walk all the way there next time (April 5th)... I wouldn't mind, but at the rate he's growing..... maybe I should get a wagon to pull him around :P

Lucca is without a doubt the cutest "little" guy ever!  :-* I was planning on stuffing him into my pocket & seeing if I could get away with him. But NOW! Holy Cow!  :o It's too late!  :-\ He's too big!  ::)

He's too precious for words.  :-* Hugs to your Stuffer Pupper.

I can just imagine you trying to carry a 50 lb 12-wk old puppy 5 blocks.  ;D What a sight for your neighbors! I wish I could see that. Perhaps before it gets to that, you should get a red radio flyer wagon to cart the big pup around.

He is one cute dog.  As others have said he is so overly exagerated he looks like a stuffy!!!  I just looked at my weight chart for Butler during his first year.  He is now15 months and 202 pounds. At seven weeks Lucca has him by 3 pounds.  :o  :o

oh my goodness! that's one big pup!! I wonder if Lucca will get that big... Some times people we don't know see him outside with me and tell me, as in a warning, "he's going to get big!" Well, no sh*t -I AM aware I got a St. Bernard... but I do wonder just HOW big he'll be full grown... and I can't for the life of me remember what the breeders said the parents weigh... I'll ask again  :P

and everyone does say he looks like a stuffed animal -both from photographs and in person  ;D i totally agree... he's a stuffed animal that puts everything he find in his mouth...

Yeah, I'd go ahead and start pricing wagons. And fork lifts!! His smooshy face is soooooo cute. What is a "typical" or average weight for a full grown male St. Bernard?

LOL He's a chunky butt and an adorable one at that. :-*

Here's the Saint Bernard weight chart.. It's from 1959 though. LOL So I'd expect most Saints nowadays to be slightly heavier.

Mongo is almost 8 weeks old.. I'll have to see if I can get his weight now. He was 11.2 pounds at 6 weeks.

get a wagon and he'll make you pull him around everywhere forever.  he'll never walk on his own since a wagon would be so much cooler ecpecially if you decorate it and motorize it.  :)

Aww hes going to be a big boy :)

Did he just get his 2nd set of vaccines?  (If it was only his first, I would really limit his walking outside where other dogs have been because he is not protected from things like parvo just yet.)

He's getting his 2nd round of shots on April 5th... We've been really lucky and he hasn't met any dogs other than Frida when we step out. I like to be extra careful and don't allow him to go near poops that aren't his own either  :P But I really don't know how we've been able to not meet other dogs -this neighborhood is very dog-friendly and every other house has at least one dog... I guess that's good for now!
