It's not a Robin, but it has to count

as an unusual bird that only shows up in Spring.  :) 

This is a Cooper's Hawk and I hear it's pretty rare to see them in the water like this

is that why all the sparrows split?   I guess we don't get them around here...and the guy who told me about them said they don't get in the water often.  must be that it's so cold here.  :)
