i need some advice

couchhounds:
ok, so every now and then, my 8 month old bloodhound, piper, will go for usually a day or 2 without pooping. i was just wondering if there was something i could give her to help her go... ya know?

Canned solid pack pumpkin.  Not pumpkin pie filling though, this is just pumpkin w/o any sugar or spices.  The fiber works well.
