Gremmie the Boxer pup
« on: March 14, 2008, 04:29:39 am »
Hi!  I'm Gremmie, and I was born Christmas Eve 2007, so I'm still pretty new.  I'm having trouble when walking on my leash.  The problem is that I just LOOOVE to chew my lead!  My owner has tried lemon juice, but I don't mind the taste.  Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Hi

I have two boxers and bitter apple does not work well with them. They actually like it.....

I use the water squirt and pebbles in a soda can. I wouldn't recommend a harness for boxers as this leaves them with the sensation for pulling.

My puppy training class recommends a spray bottle with 1 part vingegar and 3 parts water. I would spray Kai in the nose whenever she chewed her leash. It worked fabulously. Now all she has to do is see the squirt bottle and she stops what she's doing!  ;D
