I was reading that the latest craze now is

GOLDEN BERNARDS.

Yes, Golden retriever and St Bernard.

I just don't see the point when there are thousands of mixed breeds in shelters everywhere.

We are getting a lot of Golden newfies and golden pyrnese showing up around here as the latest "Craze"

I also once took in a rescue litter of "Great Weinies"- that would be dachshund/great dane mixes. The male was the dachshund. They didnt neuter/spay because they didnt think there was an logical way it could happen.

he snuck up on her while she was lying down.

Where there is a will, theres a way!

2 Kitty-paws
3 Macaws
6 lovebirds
4 ferrets
+ dozens and dozens o' rescues and fosters

I'm not certain what the Great Dane might add to the mix,  but Apollo might give you a good basis for comparison. He's St. Bernard/Mastiff/Akita, so the coloring and general shape would be correct.

These pups might be a bit lanky-ier, but then again, the Mastiff or St. Bernard Genes could beat out all comers and you could end you with a Tank just like my boy.  Grin

Probably wouldn't have the tail curl, and the fur type could be a crap-shoot! No matter what though, you're more than likely going to have drool....

I just got a puppy who's mother was a saint bernard and his father was an english mastiff/ great dane mix. So he's basically the same as the add. He's only 7 1/2 weeks old right now and already weighs 45 pounds and his paws are the size of an adult palm. He looks like his mother but has his father's size. If you have a myspace I have pics of him on there. www.myspace.co m/britnyle
