3 hour tour...
« on: April 03, 2008, 02:51:51 pm »
Well our 3 hour tour ended up being 4 hours. So much for guessing how long it would take to drive up north. lol
Mace is adorable! I got to choose from two of the males. I choose the darker one with a slightly longer snout. He gave me kisses too.  ;D There were 8 in the litter and he was lucky number 7! lol
The dad is the dark AltDeutsch and the mom the lighter.

It was so hard to leave him! But gotta let him grow up a little more. We go back either on the 19th or 20th to bring him home.

It was hard enough to pick between the two brothers! DH was wishing he had the money and the space for 3 big dogs. He wanted both the males! lol but he has his little girl.

First off congrats on your new little boy and welcome to the place.  I've been off line lately and have to say that I'm in love with both of your pups.  I'm going to have to start researching these guys.  I love the parents.  Too gorgeous.

Yes these are REAL German Shepherds. The originals that helped to found the American German sheps. or what everyone else knows as German sheps. KC came from a place near by, south-west Germany, but Mace comes from northern Germany.
I searched on the American sites but didn't find much in the US. If I tell someone here I have an Altdeutscher Schaeferhund they know what I mean. I hadn't heard of them till I moved here.
