Looking for an Irish Wolfhound

As I have mentioned in other big paws threads, my husband and I have been contemplating adding a second dog to the family. We would love to rescue or adopt a dog in need of a loving forever home and are particularily drawn to Irish Wolfhounds after researching the breed. If anyone has any information on a IW in need a of loving home would you  be so kind as to pass it on to us? We live just outside of Ottawa, Ontario Canada.

Dont know how it would work, but look at a few places in northern albera, there was some nut job woman breeding IW Siberian Huskies, there are quite a number of them.

Nope this woman was in Fort McMurray, and I know for a fact she was crossing them, then last summer the SPCA here seized all her dogs, some of which she got back.  There were 2 purebreds, one male one female, Longhorn and Fiona (?) but there are still 6 of the IW/Sibs left sitting in our SPCA, 2 in SCARS, a couple of others as well scattered throughout the area.

"Mazda" Wolfhound X                                        "Missy" Wolfhound X

I can tell you that these ones are IW crosses.
