15 minutes: keep your fingers crossed

I have a 2nd interview in 15 minutes for a job I'm really excited about. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

hmph! It's 3:50 and he hasn't called. My interview was at 3:30. That's not a good sign.

no. that's good 'cause he did! He finally called at 4pm and apologized for being so late. Our interview lasted an hour (I tend to talk a lot) and he immediately told me he'd move me forward for another interview with the area manager.

He said he thought we'd get along really well because I sounded just like her!

I'm very excited. It would mean a move to San Antonio, but a great newer company that is focused on growth instead of afraid of its own shadow like Starbucks is right now. I think it would be a good move for me.

you got a third interview?  That is great.  you got the job now you know?  no one gets a third interview without an offer.  and moving is a lot of fun.

That's what I'm hoping, but he did say he had interviewed at least one other person for this particular job. However, I don't know if that person scored a 3rd interview or not. I'm very hopeful.

Do you think it's too soon to start saving boxes?
