chow puppy with pink tongue

I am looking to buy a chow puppy. The tongue's on all of her puppies at 6 weeks only have blacck on the back of the tongue. The breeder guarantee's me that the tongues will turn black. Is this common or should this be a red flag not to buy one of her puppies?
