blowing coat in fall?
« on: September 06, 2008, 08:59:14 am »
Is it possible that Jenny (and Tipper, for that matter) is blowing her coat in the fall? I swear I brushed a pile of fur from her that was bigger than my cats! She seems to be shedding tons right now, much more than usual. Tipper even is shedding a lot, which is unusual for him. I am covered in dog hair!  :D

I want to check about the coat blowing before I start worrying about food or supplements... they are both on Wellness Core and Jenny gets salmon oil daily. Thanks!

I've got about enough fur off of Naja now to build myself another dog!  ::) :D We've been sitting for about 20 minutes ever 2-3 days with the rake, and once every 2 weeks with the old Furminator.   ;)

I would love for Lily to shed in the Fall and Spring but she chooses Winter and Summer, which makes it pretty hard to groom in super cold and super hot conditions :( I think mt fingers are still frozen from last January  ::) :P :D
