October not a good month
« on: November 01, 2008, 07:15:19 am »
So as a follow up to 'Should I bother' I'm sending this video to my breeder. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJbinNmMka8
I know Sophie is on a wood floor, but she does this in the grass as well.

Right after finding out Syrus has elbow dysplasia, Sophie - sister - LITTER MATE >:( >:( has it in both her front legs and a torn ACL in her back leg which because of her age, 14months, Vet thinks is a result of mis-aligned rear elbow putting too much strain on ACL  :'( :'( :'(

Hereditary!!!!

At least we caught early and can manage the ED for many years - EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES!

Sorry to be so angry but just hate seeing my babies in pain.

Plus throw in a little personal pain in the eye. I had to have surgery on my left eye which resulted in my eye being sewn shut for up to 6 weeks.  :'(

There, crying all done. For now....

DANG!!!  I'm so sorry!  Just know that we're here to support you--- or to make harassing phone calls to your breeder  ;)  I agree, October sucks.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm going to look into every one of them. Now if I could only see what I'm reading...

;) Yep, pretty much what I look like for the next few weeks.

I am so sorry to hear what your pups are going through  :'(
I agree about slippery floors though. It can be hard on their joints  :( There are plenty of product on the market to market
You could try little boots..or not so little  :)
Or product called "Show foot" or they have show wax that helps a lot from slipping  ;)
