Sorry I'm catching this alittle late. Jodi and Darcy you did the best thing for this old regal man, you listened to him when it was time, and he thanks you for that. I know it doesn't make it any easier..but I'm proud of you ~

I had to say goodbye to my beloved Tater Marie (basset) around this time last year (just after Christmas and right before my birthday). I know what you are going through and how tough your decision must have been ... but a mama knows. We sure feel sorry for ourselves when they are gone though don't we! Find peace in knowing you did the right thing and remember all the goofy times and smile.

thanks Patty, Memphis is a great name for anyone. his name was almost "Cash" or "riot" Cash- cause he cost us alot of it, and Riot because when we first picked him up, he was running around at the breeders house pulling floor mats, flipping them upside down, just causing a riot. but im glad we decided on Memphis... it suited him well.

I'm so sorry. Even though you know you are doing right by your sweet boy, I know how hard it is. Please know you are in our thoughts. Hopefully it will bring you some peace knowing that he is young again and pain free and that he knew he was well loved.

I'm so sorry Jo...I truly am. My heart goes out to you...please let me know if there's anything I can do. We will all miss seeing pics of the big guy...he will be forever remembered and forever missed. You guys did the right thing, as hard as it is...
