New upcoming addition

So, Jay finally gave in and said that I could get a puppy.  After all we went through with Tenchi, Jay's stipulations were that it could NOT be a giant breed, had to come from parents who had been health tested and could NOT have short hair(since Tenchi was the only one who's fur irritated his allergies).

Today I heard back from an Aussie breeder that I've been in touch with on and off for a while and it looks like I'll be getting either a red merle or red tri from her litter!!!! 

They are both boys and we'll be able to narrow down which is the better choice when they get a little older since they are not even two weeks old yet.
 
The mom has great drive and and Aussie attitude.  The dad is a laid back love bug.  They have a great hips, elbows, eyes and longevity in their lines.

So sometime in Feb, we'll have a new addition!  I can't wait!!!   Its been 5 1/2 years since I've had a puppy, almost 8 years since I've had a hearing one.....

Oh Moni, im so excited for you! Hooray! YAY JAY! GOOD MAN!these babies are super cute from what i can tell. i personally like the merle congrats can't wait to see more pics

Oooh, congrats on getting a new addition!
I don't know which one I would pick either.  I love merles, but am more partial to the blues.  You don't see many red tri aussies though (at least I don't) so that might be interesting.
they're both too adorable!  Looking forward to seeing more pix.

Luckily I don't have to choose, because I don't know how I'd do it!     The breeder will let us know who will be the best fit at around 8 weeks.  It will be after they get evaluated and temperament tested.  Then I'll get to bring the little guy home sometime in the end of Feb, when the litter is 9-10 weeks old.

I can't wait!!!!  Those are their newborn pictures, but I'll share any other ones I get.

Oh Moni - congratulation s!!  and a big  to your hubby!!
I would be so glad that I don't have to choose - the breeder picked Harley for us (my husband said because we are so far away; the breeder is in Texas and were in Rochester NY that way they gave us the dumbest one in the bunch!!  Even if its true I love him anyway)

The breeder posted the 3 week pictures, so I thought that I'd share them.  They are starting to look like puppies instead of guinea pigs. 

She's leaning towards us getting the red merle, but we still won't know for certain until they get evaluated and temperament tested.  Doesn't matter to me, I'm in love with both!

Oh moni, as i said before they are so lovely. those pics are precious... i love their spotty noses. they will fill in... right? Awwww soooo cute.
