We had some lovely Alabama spring-like days last week. We also had some spring rain, which turned parts of the yard into clay mud puddles. All along the fence where somebody runs to chase a devilish cat, and a little low spot which is an appealing place to take a snooze. Last night we had 2" of snow and alot of wind, which was a first experience for Loki. He ran and whirled around in the snow, turning in circles and galloping. I didn't have time, between spring and the blizzard, to give him a bath. I had to consider drying time. But I did get his two front feet in the tub. So, today in the 40 degree sunshine I brushed the heck out of him. He now has two very clean front paws and the rest of the big guy is a lovely pink.
